Are there Twitch Drops for GTA 6?
Not yet. As of September 24, 2026, neither Rockstar Games nor Twitch has announced a Drops campaign for GTA 6. This page will be updated as soon as an official announcement lands.
- Release: November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced for launch.
- Online mode: Rockstar describes GTA 6 as a single-player experience at launch. Twitch’s CEO mentioned 2027 for multiplayer, without confirmation from Rockstar.
- Be careful: any site promising GTA 6 Drops, codes or rewards today is not backed by an official announcement.
How do Rockstar Drops work today?
Rockstar already runs Twitch Drops for GTA Online: in-game cash, outfits and vehicles in exchange for time spent watching participating streamers. There is no guarantee GTA 6 will follow the same model, but that is the process in place.
- Selected channels: only the channels listed on Rockstar’s Twitch Drops page count, not the whole game category.
- A linked account: Twitch must be connected to your Rockstar Games account, itself linked to the platform you play on.
- Manual claiming: a completed tier must be claimed in the Twitch inventory, then the reward arrives in game within 72 hours of you signing in.
- A GTA Online requirement: you need a character that has completed the online tutorial.

It is the only step you can take today, and it already works for GTA Online. If a GTA 6 campaign starts on launch day, you will not have to rush it.
- Open your account connections Sign in on
rockstargames.com/account/connectionswith your Rockstar Games account. - Connect Twitch Choose Twitch and authorize the link between the two accounts in the Twitch window.
- Check your platforms Your Rockstar account must also be linked to your PlayStation or Xbox account: that is where the reward will be delivered.

Can I get GTA 6 Drops playing on PC?
At launch, GTA 6 is only out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A reward is delivered to the platform linked to your Rockstar Games account: with no PC version, you will need to play on console.
Will GTA Online Drops carry over to GTA 6?
Rockstar has announced nothing of the sort. GTA Online Drops are delivered in GTA Online.
Do I need the sound on for watch time to count?
No, watch time is counted independently of sound. The tab must however stay open on an eligible channel.
