What’s new in StreamPulse, release by release

Version 26.9.29 — 2026-09-27

• New. Referrals step into the light: they now live in General settings, and a “Copy my code” button waits at the end of your recap.
• Fixed. The “League of Legends Classic” and Elden Ring badges, from events that have ended, are no longer shown as available or targeted by auto mode.
• Improved. Loyalty badge: the lifetime license now shows a black disc with a gold ring and logo, much easier to read in chat, and the StreamPulse founder gets a dedicated badge.
• Fixed. A person's StreamPulse badge now disappears from chat at most 7 days after they remove the extension or turn off their community badge.
• Improved. The Gauge loyalty badge is easier to read in chat: a solid disc in your tier's color, a white ring that fills up and a crisp logo, with a shine from one year on.

Version 26.9.28 — 2026-09-27

• New. StreamPulse+ loyalty badge: as your badge effect, pick “Gauge”, a badge whose ring fills up month after month, or “Pager”, the StreamPulse screen in a case that changes material. From 1 month to 4 years, gold for lifetime licenses. It's the default badge if you haven't picked an effect, and your subscribed months add up, even after a break.
• New. Name and badge redesigned, like 7TV paints: one palette for the logo and the name, 7 gradients and 9 textures (Galaxy, Holographic, Lava, Marble, Chrome, Glitter, Candy cane, Toxic, Ocean), each with its own built-in animation. Separate animations (Pulse, Bounce…) and the Neon and Glitch effects are gone: a badge that used one goes back to the classic logo, and Prism becomes Rainbow.
• Fixed. The Settings step of the first-time setup no longer offers automatic Moments claiming: Twitch removed that feature.
• Improved. The final screen of the first-time setup is redesigned: a preview of the notification you'll get when your first followed streamer goes live, a strip of your streamers, and content properly anchored in the page.
• New. The community badge now offers itself: a card in the popup turns it on in one click (with the privacy reminder), and the first-time setup shows the chat preview before the switch.
• Fixed. Badge auto mode: the tab now gets past blocking screens on its own (mature content, chat consent) that left the stream paused and badges frozen. The 360p quality and near-silent volume are reapplied after ads and stream restarts.

Version 26.9.27 — 2026-09-27

• New. New Drops panel in Settings: your Twitch Drops in progress with their progress and time left, the ones ready to claim, and Twitch's campaigns with filters (new, ending soon, upcoming), your games first. With StreamPulse+, the history of every Drop you earned, month by month, with the game and the channel.
• New. No need to open Twitch anymore: StreamPulse checks your Drops every 10 minutes and claims the ready ones, even when you watch on your phone or TV.
• Improved. On the home screen, the Drops chip shows the Drop in progress with a progress line, without taking space from the stage.
• Improved. Drops are now auto-claimed directly through Twitch as soon as they are ready, without waiting for the inventory page, and each Drop you earn is counted once, with its name.
• New. Badge auto mode: a "Get every available badge" button works through the free badges on its own, and you can queue several by hand. One tab watches one game at a time (Twitch only counts one live at a time): tiers of the same game (30 min, 1 h, 90 min…) progress together, then the tab moves to the next game. A banner on the Twitch page shows the badges in progress, the Drop minutes and what's next.
• New. New Badges tab in Settings: running chat badge campaigns with their requirements, and new Twitch global badges as soon as they appear, with how to get them, whether they are free or paid, and the ones you already own. A notification tells you about new free badges.
• New. Auto mode in the Badges tab: "Get it automatically" opens a live stream from the campaign in a pinned, muted tab at low quality, then closes it and lets you know as soon as the badge is yours.
• New. New Points panel in Settings: StreamPulse records every channel point you earn on Twitch and shows how many you earned on each channel. With StreamPulse+, see where they come from (watching, bonuses, raids, follows, streaks, cheers and gift subs), what your sub added on top, and a card for each streamer with a log of your gains. Your recap now shows the points you earned too.
• New. New Name & badge tab: with StreamPulse+, pick an effect for your username and for the StreamPulse logo next to it in Twitch chat, seen by every StreamPulse user. 25 effects, including the new Heartbeat, Float, Wobble, Prism, Glitch, Ember and Frost. The badge colour setting is gone: the badge takes your username colour.
• New. StreamPulse+ referrals: share your code, your friend gets €2.99 off (first month free, or the lifetime plan for €16). You earn money on PayPal: €1 for every month they pay, or €5 at once if they take the lifetime plan, paid out from €10. Plus: a free month per friend on the monthly plan, the Ambassador username effect, the Golden halo badge effect and one more device.
• New. The StreamPulse+ monthly plan now starts with 7 free days.
• Improved. Drops and Badges get their own tabs in the top bar, and What's new moves to an icon on the right. Settings are reorganised: Name & badge, Drops and Badges come first, with a New label until your first visit.
• New. While typing a name to add a Twitch or Kick channel, matching channels show up like on Twitch, with their avatar and live ones first. Use the arrows and Enter to add one without typing it all.
• New. Layout: in General & help, reorder the top bar tabs and the Settings sections, and hide the ones you don't use (History, for example).
• Improved. Labels that overflowed their buttons were shortened in Italian, Polish, Turkish, Russian and French (hover previews, help & FAQ, watch time…).
• New. A notification announces every StreamPulse update, once per version, and a click opens What's new. It can be turned off in Settings, Alerts tab.
• Improved. The latency indicator goes where you want: under the player next to the viewer count, as today, or in the chat header in place of the "Stream Chat" title. Set it in Player.
• Improved. The points on the recap image are the real points of the period: the new daily tracking, and before it the bonus chests the extension had dated. If tracking only covers part of the period, the image says so ("Points since Sep 26"). The yearly Wrapped uses your total since install.
• Fixed. Recap image: watch time no longer overflows past 100 hours, your favorite channel's name is shown in full, StreamPulse is no longer written three times, and the downloaded image is twice as sharp while weighing under 1 MB (JPEG), light enough for X.
• Fixed. The "Drops today" counter on the home screen is back: it counts the Drops you actually earned, no longer clicks on Twitch buttons.
• Fixed. The yearly Wrapped could show fewer hours than one of its months (for example 120 h for 2026 versus 160 h for September): the current month only counted from when daily tracking arrived. Every month is now counted in full.

• Fixed. Auto-claiming channel points could open the Gift Subs window: during SUBtember, Twitch's gift button contains the word "bonus" and was mistaken for the points chest. Only the chest is clicked now.

Version 26.9.21 — 2026-09-21

• New. YouTube joins Twitch and Kick: add a channel by its @handle or by pasting its link, and it shows up in the dashboard with its title, viewer count and thumbnail. Live alerts work just like on the other platforms, with no account and no API key.
• New. Volume boost on the Twitch player: a button next to the sound slider pushes the volume up to 200%, for streams mixed too quietly. Click to turn it on or off, scroll or use the arrow keys to adjust.
• Fixed. The dashboard filter only offered Twitch and Kick, so there was no way to show only your YouTube channels. The YouTube pill was missing, it is there now.
• Fixed. A few texts stayed in English in the other languages: the message shown when no channel is followed, and the one in the History tab when it is empty. They are translated everywhere now.
• Improved. Twitch pages are 354 KB lighter: the hover preview player is no longer loaded on every page, only when a preview actually starts.

Version 26.9.20 — 2026-09-17

• Fixed. Connection restored after the Twitch authentication incident, and the extension now repairs itself if the credentials change again, so there is no more waiting or reinstalling.
• Improved. Live checks are now far lighter: all followed Twitch streamers are queried in a single grouped request instead of one per channel. Twitch's rate limit is reached much later, even with long follow lists.

Version 26.9.19 — 2026-09-16

• Improved. Simpler alerts: everything is set on each streamer's card — notifications, category and title changes. No more contradictory double switches in settings.
• Improved. Raid alerts 90 seconds earlier: StreamPulse is notified the moment the raid countdown starts via Twitch's real-time interface, no longer on arrival.
• Improved. Settings reorganized: a dedicated Player panel, raid auto-cancel moved next to the raid alerts it pairs with, and the player quality setting finally fits on one line.
• Fixed. The channel-point bonus no longer mis-clicks the counter: the points popover stops opening in a loop while you watch.
• Improved. The neon effect preview in settings now mirrors the chat rendering exactly, including with a custom glow color.
• Fixed. Twitch panels now recognize every valid username: some short logins were ignored by the topbar button and channel following.
• Fixed. Channel points, Drops and watch time are counted exactly: simultaneous events no longer overwrite each other.
• Fixed. Hovering the toolbar icon shows the live count again in its tooltip, instead of silently failing.

• Improved. Raid alerts and auto-cancel no longer conflict: enabling alerts turns off auto-cancel, leaving time to follow the raid.
• Improved. Less memory and CPU in Twitch tabs: internal loops now stop when they're no longer needed.
• New. Kick goes video: on the popup stage, a Kick streamer's live starts full-frame the moment you open, with no sound.
• New. Real images for Kick streams: the extension now asks Kick's official API, and the thumbnails feed the lists and the stage backdrop.
• Improved. Direct removal: every live card carries its own trash button, with on-card confirmation. No more digging through the full list.
• Improved. A violet "1" shows on the extension icon when release notes are waiting, and clears once you've read them.
• Fixed. The greeting stays readable on very bright scenes, and the active onboarding step is announced to screen readers.
• Fixed. In the settings panel on Twitch, five switches showed as off while the option was actually on: Drops, Moments, the Picture-in-Picture button, player recovery and notification sound. The first click therefore seemed to do nothing.
• Fixed. Player error detection no longer started at all: it was waiting for a settings change that never came. It now runs as soon as the page opens.
• New. New: incoming raid alerts (beta), to switch on in settings. StreamPulse watches the Twitch channels you follow, even with no tab open, and warns you as soon as a raid lands so you can collect the points. Off by default.
• Improved. The "Added" button on channel pages loses its coloured outline and takes Twitch's own neutral grey.
• Improved. The StreamPulse player buttons now show a tooltip on hover, like Twitch's own: "Skip to live", "Picture-in-Picture" or "Download clip".
• Improved. The latency indicator moved under the player, just left of the viewer count and stream uptime, instead of the chat header.
• New. New "Player quality" setting: open every stream at Source, 1440p, 1080p, 720p, 480p or 360p. StreamPulse picks the closest quality when yours isn't offered by the channel, for example 1440p if you ask for 1080p on a channel streaming in 1440p. On Auto, the default, Twitch keeps full control.
• Fixed. Backups were incomplete: they now also include your pinned favorites, channel groups, history, smart alerts, theme and prediction rules. Your StreamPulse+ license stays out, since it is tied to the device.
• Fixed. The StreamPulse buttons in the Twitch player finally match Twitch's own style: same size, round shape and icons redrawn with the player's own weight.
• New. New Picture-in-Picture button in the Twitch player to watch the stream in a mini window.
• New. StreamPulse+: a button on Twitch clip pages saves the clip as MP4, in the best available quality.
• Improved. Player errors (#1000 to #5000, including #2000): StreamPulse presses "Try again" for you, then reloads the tab if the player still won't start. Never on a background tab, never twice for the same page. Can be switched off; on by default.
• New. New "Keep quality in background" option in player settings: Twitch no longer lowers quality when you switch tabs. Off by default.

Version 26.9.18 — 2026-09-15

• Fixed. Hover previews work again on your StreamPulse favorites in the Twitch sidebar.
• Improved. The community badge is now off by default and only turns on with your consent, at install or in settings, since it sends a fingerprint of your username to streampulse.fr.
• Improved. Automatic raid cancel is now off by default: following a raid lets you collect the channel points that come with it. You can still turn it on in settings.
• Improved. "Tabs" permission removed: Chrome no longer shows "Read your browsing history" at install. Every feature works the same.
• Improved. The extension's internal files (sound, release notes) can no longer be read by websites, and its logos only on Twitch.

Version 26.9.17 — 2026-09-15

• Fixed. The extension now talks to streampulse.fr directly: the badge, your StreamPulse+ key check and the Twitch connection no longer rely on a redirect that could block them.
• New. A small thank-you message when you activate StreamPulse+. It only shows once per key.
• Improved. A banner in the popup warns you when your browser blocks StreamPulse notifications, with a button to the settings.
• Improved. When a smart alert is active for a streamer, StreamPulse now tells you their regular alert is off.
• New. A link in the settings to star the project on GitHub.

Version 26.9.16 — 2026-09-14

• Fixed. The badge, its color, its effects and the special name were missing on messages already on screen when Twitch loaded: they now appear right away.
• New. StreamPulse favorites in Twitch's left sidebar: a star appears when you hover a followed channel, and your live favorites move to the top. It's the same list as the popup favorites. They no longer show up twice in the list below.
• New. "All settings" now opens a panel right on Twitch instead of a new window.
• New. StreamPulse+: pick your name and badge effects right in Twitch's chat settings, with a live preview.
• Fixed. The video preview when hovering channels works again, and the Neon name effect is easier to read.

Version 26.9.15 — 2026-09-14

• New. New History tab: the lives you missed show up as thumbnails, with their length and a direct link to the Twitch replay.
• New. StreamPulse+: a monthly or lifetime plan to support the extension. Everything that exists stays free. Activate your license key from the PLUS badge, usable on 2 browsers.
• New. Smart alerts (StreamPulse+): only get notified when a streamer starts a specific game, puts a word in their title or passes a viewer count. Settings, StreamPulse+.
• New. StreamPulse+ menu in settings: popup accent color, badge color, 7 animated badge effects and 6 special names (aurora, gold, neon…), visible to every StreamPulse user and updated live in chat.
• New. Advanced recap and yearly Wrapped (StreamPulse+): your hours by category, your activity curve and your whole year in the recap.
• New. Assisted predictions (StreamPulse+): automatic bet a few seconds before the end based on your rule, betting history, win rate and net gain.
• Fixed. The most watched channel's name is no longer cut off in the recap, and the What's new tab lines up with the others.

Version 26.9.14 — 2026-09-14

• New. New popup: the live streamer takes the stage with their thumbnail, other lives scroll below, and today's points and Drops are visible at a glance.
• New. Pin your favorite channels, sort them into groups and find them in the full list with search and sorting.
• Improved. A new look for the recap, the release notes, the welcome screens and the elements added on Twitch, matching streampulse.fr.
• Improved. Importing a backup opens in a tab and adds its streamers and watch time to what you already have, without overwriting your settings.
• Fixed. Automatic raid opt-out recognizes Twitch's leave button again in French and other languages.

Version 26.9.13 — 2026-09-13

• New. Data backup: download a file with your streamers, settings, stats and watch time, then restore it later or in another browser. Settings, Data section.
• Fixed. The StreamPulse community badge was not shown next to usernames that already have Twitch badges (subscriber, Prime…) after a Twitch chat change. It now appears for everyone again.
• New. On-demand recap: pick the last 7 or 30 days or a month, in desktop (16:9) or mobile (9:16) format, then download the image or share it on X. Available from Settings, Watch time.
• Improved. Offline cards now show the last category streamed, and the last title on hover. Twitch returns nothing for an offline channel, so this is now remembered.
• Fixed. Changing your username in Settings now updates your profile picture too. It used to keep the one from the account entered at install time.
• Fixed. The red “No preferences to update” banner no longer appears when nothing actually failed.
• New. Title change alerts: get notified when a streamer edits their stream title. Turn them on in Settings, then mute them streamer by streamer with the new button on each card.
• New. Your Twitch profile picture now appears as a watermark behind your points and watch time.
• Improved. Each card button now says what it does on hover: notifications, category alerts, title alerts, open, remove. They had stayed in French in every other language.
• Fixed. On a live card, the platform name no longer appears twice.
• Fixed. Big translation cleanup: “Twitch” and “Kick” were being translated into everyday words in about ten languages, and the game or platform name was missing from several notifications.

Version 26.9.9 — 2026-09-09

• New. Official Mozilla Firefox support: native background audio engine without offscreen documents and strict compliance with Mozilla permission rules.
• New. Community badge: all StreamPulse users are automatically detected and display a StreamPulse icon next to their username in Twitch chat, visible to all community members.
• New. Redesigned Twitch top-bar panel: how long you have watched the current channel, a button to add it to your list, your quick settings, and your streamers currently live: click to switch without leaving the page.
• New. The chat badge colour is now adjustable: each person's username colour, white or black to match the Twitch theme, or a colour of your choice.
• Improved. The badge can be disabled anytime in Settings → Chat → Community badge.
• Improved. The community badge no longer sends your username: only a fingerprint of it is transmitted, computed in your browser, and the public list shows no names.
• Improved. Updated extension titles across all 15 languages to highlight the full feature set: real-time live alerts, Channel Points, and Twitch Drops.
• Improved. The popup top bar has been streamlined: the duplicate points badge in the top right was removed. The main counter remains highlighted in the greeting section with smooth animation.
• Improved. Every setting change now shows a confirmation, so there is no doubt about what was applied.

• Improved. Supporting the developer offers both Revolut and PayPal everywhere, including from the Twitch top bar which previously offered only one.

• Improved. Automatic Drops inventory opening now runs every 24h by default instead of every 4h. Installs still set to 4h switch over on their own, and the frequency stays adjustable in the settings.
• Fixed. Fixed Twitch icon loading on systems and browsers enforcing strict case sensitivity on filenames.
• Fixed. The chat badge was spaced twice as far as Twitch's native badges: its alignment now matches theirs exactly, 7TV included.
• Fixed. After an extension update, the hover preview stayed stuck at its default size until the page was reloaded. The card left behind by the previous version is now cleaned up automatically.
• Fixed. The « predictions » button added at the top of chat has been removed: it duplicated Twitch's own interface.
• Fixed. Drop and Raid alerts stopped appearing: their icon failed to load and Chrome rejected the whole notification. They are back, and their text is now translated into all 15 languages instead of staying in French.
• Fixed. Watch time stayed on « -- » when the popup opened and only showed up after a trip through the settings. It now appears as soon as the popup opens.

Version 26.8.12 — 2026-08-30

• Improved. The “Add to StreamPulse” button now matches Twitch's own geometry exactly: full pill shape, 32px tall, and the same grey as “Subscribe” once the channel is tracked. It no longer stands out as something bolted onto the action row.
• Fixed. The button showed “Add” on a channel you were already tracking, then flipped to grey a second later. It was asking the service worker, which goes to sleep in the background and never answered; the list is now read straight from storage, which always answers.
• Fixed. On narrow windows, the button pushed Twitch's action row out of its column and “Subscribe” slipped under the right-hand rail. When space runs short the label now disappears and only the logo stays; the full text still shows on hover.
• Fixed. The StreamPulse logo was purple on purple on the add button, and purple on dark grey in the Twitch nav bar: barely visible either way. It is now white everywhere it appears.
• Fixed. Channels added with an older version of the extension weren't recognised by the button, which offered to add them a second time.

Version 26.8.11 — 2026-08-11

• New. The extension is now fully translated and available in 15 languages! The Chrome Web Store will automatically display the name and description in your language.
• New. An “Add to StreamPulse” button now appears directly on Twitch channel pages, next to the Subscribe button. Purple when the streamer isn't followed yet, grey once added.
• Fixed. The Twitch button didn't show up at all if you had 7TV installed: the conflict guard walked the whole DOM and rejected the legitimate Twitch bar.
• Fixed. Notifications disappeared silently when the streamer's avatar couldn't be downloaded (content blocker, CDN unavailable). They now fall back to the local logo.
• Improved. The confirmation for removing a streamer was unstyled and used the browser's raw buttons. New design, showing the name of the streamer concerned.
• Improved. The confirmation no longer closes by itself after 3 seconds, and the Enter key cancels instead of deleting.
• New. This release notes page, which opens after every update to tell you what changed. It follows the language selected in the extension, notes included.
• Fixed. The violet italic words in the large headings were clipped: the gradient was only painted inside the word's box, while an italic leans past it and a descender drops below the line. The tail of the g went missing.
• Fixed. Several settings stayed in French even after picking another language: auto-open inventory, tab icons, event log and FAQ. The whole settings screen and the first-time setup now follow the language you choose.
• Fixed. The LIVE dot on the tab icon was clipped by the avatar mask, to the point of being invisible at actual size. It is now a red ring around the streamer's avatar.
• New. The tab ring turns orange and blinks when the channel raids someone else, so you can see the raid happen even when auto-cancel is on.
• Fixed. Auto-cancel raids stopped finding the banner whenever Twitch renamed its internal elements, and could react up to two seconds too late. Detection has been broadened and the click now fires as soon as the banner appears. Not confirmed yet: checking it means catching a channel at the exact moment it raids, so the investigation continues.
